1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using beyond808.live, beyond808.live/lux, or any related Halo Vision website (collectively, the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1.2 About Us
The Site is operated by Halo Vision. Throughout these terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Halo Vision. References to "you" or "your" refer to the user of the Site or the purchaser of a ticket or product.
1.3 Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, images, video, audio, graphics, logos, photographs of Cortnie Kairos and team, the BEYOND 808 brand, the LUX brand, the Halo Vision brand, and all written materials, is owned by Halo Vision or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.
You may share links to the Site freely. You may quote brief portions of public content with attribution to Halo Vision and Cortnie Kairos.
1.4 Permitted Use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, our servers, or related systems.
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site, including through use of viruses, scraping tools, bots, or automated systems.
- Impersonate Halo Vision, Cortnie Kairos, or any team member.
- Use the Site to harass, defame, or harm any other person.
1.5 Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services (including Stripe for payment processing, Mighty Networks for the halo.love community space, and Kit for email communication). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service. Your interactions with these third parties are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
1.6 Site Availability and Changes
We do our best to keep the Site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the Site will always reflect the most current information. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.
1.7 No Warranties
The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
1.8 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Halo Vision, Cortnie Kairos, and any affiliated person or entity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
1.9 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
General Disclaimer
BEYOND 808, LUX, X-Factor, and all programs, events, workshops, recordings, written materials, and offerings by Halo Vision and Cortnie Kairos (collectively, the "Offerings") are intended for educational, inspirational, spiritual, and personal-development purposes only.
2.1 Not Medical, Psychological, or Therapeutic Advice
Cortnie Kairos is not a licensed physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, counselor, or other licensed healthcare provider. Nothing offered on the Site or within any Halo Vision program constitutes medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health concern, please consult a qualified licensed professional. The Offerings are not a substitute for professional care.
2.2 Not Legal, Financial, or Investment Advice
Nothing on the Site or within any Offering constitutes legal, financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice. References to wealth, abundance, business, or financial transformation are conceptual and personal in nature. Consult a qualified licensed professional before making legal, financial, or investment decisions.
2.3 Individual Results
The Offerings explore identity, embodiment, frequency, presence, creative expression, and personal evolution. Outcomes vary widely based on individual circumstances, openness, and integration. We make no guarantees, representations, or warranties about specific outcomes, results, transformations, healings, awakenings, financial gains, or life changes that may or may not occur from participating in any Offering.
2.4 Personal Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your own choices, decisions, well-being, integration, and growth. By engaging with any Offering, you accept full responsibility for your participation and any outcomes that follow.
2.5 Spiritual and Energetic Content
The Offerings include language and concepts drawn from spirituality, consciousness work, embodiment practices, and metaphysical frameworks. These are shared as perspectives and tools for exploration. They are not religious doctrine, scientific claim, or guaranteed truth. Take what serves you. Leave what does not.
BEYOND 808 Event Attendance Terms
These terms apply to all tickets purchased for BEYOND 808 (August 7 to 10, 2026) and the LUX Immersion extension (August 7 to 16, 2026), held on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada (collectively, the "Event"). By purchasing a ticket and attending the Event, you agree to these terms.
3.1 Ticket Purchase & Confirmation
Your ticket is confirmed upon successful payment through our authorized payment processor (Stripe). You will receive a confirmation email and access to the BEYOND 808 home space inside halo.love. Tickets are issued in the name of the purchaser.
3.2 Refunds & Transfers
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. This includes deposits, payment-plan installments, and full payments. We do not offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to change of mind, scheduling conflicts, illness, travel disruption, or inability to attend.
Tickets are transferable to another person, subject to our written approval, no later than 14 days before the Event start date. To request a transfer, email team@halo.love with the name and contact information of the new attendee. The new attendee must agree to these terms in writing before the transfer is finalized.
Transfers are not permitted within 14 days of the Event start date.
3.3 Payment Plans
If you purchase using a payment plan, you authorize automatic recurring charges to your payment method on the schedule outlined at checkout. You remain responsible for the full ticket price regardless of attendance. Missed or failed payments may result in cancellation of your ticket without refund of amounts already paid.
3.4 Travel, Accommodation & Insurance
Travel to and from the Event, accommodation, ground transportation, meals not provided as part of the Event, passports, visas, and all related expenses are your sole responsibility unless otherwise expressly included in your ticket tier.
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, evacuation, and loss of personal belongings. Halo Vision is not responsible for losses arising from travel disruption, flight cancellation, weather, illness, or any other circumstance preventing your attendance.
3.5 Health, Medical & Dietary
You represent that you are in sufficient physical and mental health to participate in the Event. The Event may include movement, dance, breath practices, extended periods of standing or sitting, sensory experiences (including music, light, and immersive sound), and emotionally activating content.
You are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, dietary needs, or accommodations to us in advance by emailing team@halo.love. You are responsible for bringing any medications you require.
If at any time during the Event you experience physical or emotional distress, please notify a member of the Halo Vision team or seek qualified medical assistance immediately.
3.6 Code of Conduct
BEYOND 808 is a container for presence, transformation, and connection. By attending, you agree to:
- Treat every attendee, team member, venue staff, and guest with respect, kindness, and dignity.
- Honour each person's physical, emotional, and energetic boundaries.
- Refrain from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, unwanted sexual attention, or behaviour that disrupts the Event for others.
- Refrain from recording, photographing, or broadcasting other attendees without their explicit consent.
- Use any substances responsibly, in compliance with all applicable laws, and never in a manner that endangers yourself or others.
- Follow all instructions from Halo Vision team members, venue staff, and emergency personnel.
We reserve the right to remove any attendee from the Event, without refund, whose conduct we determine, in our sole discretion, to be unsafe, disrespectful, disruptive, or in violation of this code.
3.7 Photo & Video Release
By attending the Event, you grant Halo Vision and Cortnie Kairos the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to photograph, film, audio-record, and otherwise capture your image, likeness, voice, and statements during the Event, and to use these recordings for any lawful purpose including marketing, promotion, social media, websites, sales pages, recap content, sizzle reels, course materials, and editorial pieces.
You waive any right to inspect, approve, or receive compensation for any such use. If you have specific concerns or wish to be excluded from a particular shot, please speak with our media team on-site.
3.8 Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
You acknowledge that attendance at the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional discomfort, loss of personal property, exposure to illness, travel-related risks, and risks arising from group activities, movement practices, and immersive experiences.
You voluntarily assume all such risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and forever discharge Halo Vision, Cortnie Kairos, their officers, employees, contractors, presenters, guest speakers, volunteers, and venue operators (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your participation in the Event, whether known or unknown, except for claims arising from the Released Parties' gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
3.9 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claim, loss, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your conduct at the Event, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
3.10 Personal Property
You are solely responsible for your personal belongings. Halo Vision is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property at the Event venue, accommodation, or any related location.
3.11 Cancellation or Changes by Organizer
We reserve the right to modify the Event schedule, line-up, venue, guest speakers, or programming at any time. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund.
If the Event is cancelled in full by Halo Vision (and not due to a Force Majeure event described below), we will at our sole discretion either reschedule the Event and apply your ticket to the new date, offer credit toward a future Halo Vision offering, or issue a refund. We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or related expenses you incur.
3.12 Force Majeure
Halo Vision is not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations to the extent caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, earthquake, pandemic, epidemic, government order or restriction, public-health emergency, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labour disruption, venue closure, or failure of essential third-party services.
In a Force Majeure event affecting the Event, we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule, transition to a hybrid or virtual format, or otherwise deliver value to ticket-holders. Refunds in a Force Majeure event are at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed.
3.13 Minors
The Event is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Attendees under 18 are not permitted unless expressly approved in writing by Halo Vision and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who has signed an additional waiver.
3.14 Privacy of Other Attendees
What is shared in the room stays in the room. You agree to respect the confidentiality of personal stories, experiences, and identifying details shared by other attendees during the Event, both during and after the Event.
Governing Terms
4.1 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising from them, your use of the Site, or your attendance at the Event are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
You agree that any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
4.2 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any additional terms you accept at checkout or on-site, constitute the entire agreement between you and Halo Vision regarding your use of the Site and attendance at the Event, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements.
4.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
4.4 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
4.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely.
